Members of the Community,
I am writing you today to announce the beginning of the Hereford Volunteer Ambulance Association Summer of FUNdraising and Community Engagement.
Hereford Volunteer Ambulance Association is an independent non-profit EMS organization in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland. Our operations rely heavily on community donors and volunteers, in addition to subsidies from the Baltimore County Government. Our organization currently provides two Advanced Life Support ambulances to the Baltimore County Community. In order to continue these services we need your help!
Our organization is in need of volunteers and community partners in order to provide an ambulance service to your community. You can help us in one of two ways:
VOLUNTEER: We are in need of all types of members, those who may want to provide EMS services on 911 calls, and those who may be better suited to administrative functions. Training provided at no cost!
DONATE: We understand for some, volunteering can be a large time commitment they are not able to make. You can still help! Generous contributions from community members have allowed us to make significant capital improvements to our operations in recent years.
This summer we will be hosting the following major fundraising events: Local Business Raffle- 13 Hereford Business have donated items which will be raffled off on July 28! (Tickets are available at each of the following events) Pit Beef- Each year we host Pit Beef sales on the 4th Saturday of every month. Lunch with Hereford Ambulance- A NEW EVENT, each 2nd Saturday we will host a cookout with a rotating menu.
Visit our facebook page or website to learn more. Please consider supporting your Local Community Ambulance service this summer!
